Projects

These are a few of the projects I've worked on thus far.

Darkest Nights

 

This is a personal project that I have been working on over the last 3 years, a VR single player RPG game. This is a game that I am building myself from the ground up, demonstrating all of the game design abilities I have acquired thus far. I want this game to embody the full extent of what an immersive virtual world can look and feel like. I am responsible for:

  • Programming
  • Level Design
  • 3D Models/Animations
  • Visual Effects

Medley Vikings

 

This was a project I worked on in a group over the span of 2 months. We set out to design a rhythm game in VR in which the player would have to drum to the rhythm of a song to complete the game. This is a project I oversaw the development of as a team lead and assisted in every role of development. I was responsible for:

  • Assisting in the programming an enemy state machine and interaction between it and the player. 
  • Creating the level, the pathing of the player and the fog effects
  • User interface ad

Candy Killers

 

This was another project I collaborated on as the lead artist. My role was to create an environment to host a multiplayer first person shooter game. Because the project was started in October, we went will a Halloween theme and I created a night-veiled cul-de-sac to house our players. My responsibilities include:

  • Designing a scalable environment with visual effects
  • Assisted in programming player interaction

MNDR

 

This was a large scale client project I collaborated on as the lead Visual Effects artist and a programmer. In this project, we worked with the musical artist, MNDR, to create a virtual experience for players to accompany the artist's songs as they explore an interactable virtual world. For this project, I was responsible for:

  • Designing a visual assets effects.
  • Assisted in creating a player inventory functionality and scene transition.
  • Assisted in general debugging.

VarScent

 

This was a large scale client project I collaborated on as the lead 3D Artist and Level Designer. This project was aimed towards using scent and visual association to measure dementia in its players and assist in creating a treatment plan. This is done by generating scents and asking the player to match it to one of the spawned objects. For this project, I was tasked with:

  • Designing a stylized virtual environment.
  • Creating multiple 3D assets to be generated within the game.
